The Museum of Freemasonry

Established in Cadet Hall, the Museum of Freemasonry has re-opened its doors in February 2010 after major renovations. It presents the history of Freemasonry and the contribution of the boxes to the history of France for nearly three centuries. Evidence of the Masonic influence on the evolution of society, of citizenship and modernity, both philosophically and politically, the museum displays a large collection of seals, jewelry, medals, paintings, personal items such as watches , manuscripts, prints, architecture books, and photographs. The exhibition sheds light particularly on the origin and nature of symbols and rites. The pieces should not miss during your visit: decks Voltaire and Jerome Bonaparte, or sword of Venerable Lafayette.

Open Tuesday to Saturday from 14h to 18h. Closed Mondays and holidays.

Sommeliers du Verger de la Madeleine travel themselves soils of French winemakers, in search of wines of character or novelties. Their hunting grounds: the land unknown to the most famous areas. You will therefore understand that wine is available to all, and fits every budget. You can then leave with a wine at 16 € a Pessac-Leognan at 8900 € a bottle! The Corton-Charlemagne and Chassagne Montrachet are also well represented.
